I have been married to my husband since 2003 & we have 3 beautiful children who are active in school and community activities.  I have owned several small businesses as well as volunteered in many different leadership roles in the community.  I am very community minded and my focus is to serve others and glorify God in all that I do.

I graduated from Wellington College of Remedial Massages Therapies as an RMT in June 2019.  I have training for Swedish relaxation massage, advanced assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunctions, hot stone massage, prenatal massage, TMJ dysfunction and lymphatic integration.

I look forward to helping people increase their quality of life by providing assessment as well as a safe and effective treatment plan to target those specific needs.  My goal is to facilitate the body's natural ability to heal and decrease stress.

I was born and raised in Winkler. I love this community, how it’s grown over the years, and how it continues to grow and flourish.

My husband and I have been married since 1998 and we have 3 children. I enjoy activities like Bowling, Curling, and Slowpitch. I also enjoy volunteering at my church in our children’s ministry and my daughter’s skating club.

MARTHA BUHLER - RECEPTIONIST

I'm born and raised around Winkler all my life. I'm a mom to 3 wonderful children, who are my world.
I'm fluent in English and low German.

Crafting, baking and reading are activities I enjoy doing in my spare time. I also love spending time outdoors walking, watching my son play baseball, enjoying God's beauty all around us, and road trips/vacations with my kiddos. I really enjoy spending time with people and hope I can be an inspiration to them.

LEANNE DYCK - RECEPTIONIST

I have been married to my husband since 2000. We have been blessed with 3 awesome children and a big mastiff dog who we love dearly.

I have been working in customer service for 25 + years in different work settings and love how rewarding it is to serve and bring a smile to people's faces. I enjoy reading, greenhouses, adding plants to my growing collection, watching my chickens roam our yard, volunteering in our church, hiking, traveling, and spending time at the lake in the summer.

KIM DOELL - RECEPTIONIST

I was born in Winkler and have lived on both Canadian coasts and also the Northwest Territories.

I am a daughter to my God-given parents, a sister to 2 strong women and mom to 3 creative adult children (a pretty great mother-in-law too, they tell me) and Gramma-Dearest to four grandchildren.

I have studied Biblical Hebrew and am passionate about teaching some very special women in our ongoing Bible study.

I have 25 years of office administration experience and am thrilled to be part of the Renew Wellness Center team because I believe in the power of unity to serve the clients as well as to serve each other.

Since graduating from Wellington College in 2007, I have been fortunate enough to have run my own business as well as help out in other clinics throughout the years.  I got married to my husband in 2018 and both of us enjoy sports and the outdoors.

Being athletic growing up, and continuing to be around the sport world has been a big part of my focus throughout my massage therapy career as well as advancing my knowledge for mental and physical injuries.  I have been blessed to have taken some education that has opened the doors to new advancements on how the massage therapy world is evolving and continuing to grow. I am trained in Sports massage therapy, Pre and Post event massage, KT Taping, TMJ dysfunction, Swedish massage, and Deep tissue massage therapy.  Educating clients and continuing to care for their health, wellness, and overall well being is something I take pride in and will continue to share with the community.

After 2 years of training and over 2550 hours of hands on experience I graduated from Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies in July 2019.  I've enjoyed learning how to share my skills as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT).

I have training for Swedish relaxation massage, advanced assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunctions as well as hot stone massage.

LEE SIEMENS - RMT

I have been married since 2015, and my wife and I live in Altona.  I enjoy long distance running, playing baseball, reading, and woodworking.  Since 2013 I have participated in over 35 road races, including my first full marathon, the Polar Bear Marathon, which was in support of the Christian ministry Athletes in Action, in Churchill, Manitoba, in November of 2013.

I started my RMT studies at Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies in the Summer of 2018, participating in the Distance Education program, before I switched to the Full Time option for the 2019/2020 school year.  I have taken Pre/Post Sports Event Massage Therapy, Deep Tissue Access and Lymphatic Integration seminars.

My desire in learning how to provide effective remedial massage therapy is foundationally based upon the love that Christ has mercifully granted me.  Everyone has been created in the image of Jesus, and as such ought to be treated with respect and care.  I want to provide professional, empathetic, and effective therapy for those I am blessed to be in contact with.  I want to live grateful for each breath God gives me, and to honour the skills, gifts, and time He has given me.

I graduated from Evolve College of Massage Therapy in January of 2019. After I graduated, I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to run my own business! I have been married since 2019 and we have 2 beautiful  children!

I have training in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, advanced musculoskeletal assessment, joint mobility, sports massage, pre and post event massage, prenatal massage and hot stone massage! I believe that having an open line of communication between therapist and client is key to ensuring a successful treatment process. I also find that it is important to educate clients on ways that they can improve their overall health and wellness.

Hi!  I graduated from Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies in June of 2022. I have enjoyed meeting so many new clients while I did my clinic practicum at Renew Wellness Center from 2019 until 2022.  My goal is to do my very best to help my clients achieve their wellness goals.

Currently I provide therapeutic, hot stone and Swedish relaxation massage treatments.  I plan on continuing to expand my education and training and in the future I hope to offer other services to my clients.

RENEE WALL- RMT

I was born and raised in winkler and have lived in southern Manitoba my whole life. Currently I live in the country with my family and as many animals as possible. 

I graduated from Wellington College as an RMT in 2020 and have been serving Winkler and the surrounding area ever since. I have trained in Swedish massage, advanced assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal dysfunctions and TMJ. I recently completed my training for Lymphatic integration at the beginning of June 2023.

I try to spend as much of my spare time as I can outside, whether I’m hunting/fishing or just playing with my two wonderful kids. I also enjoy crafting and sewing which allows my creative side to shine.

I have been married since 2009, adopted a dog and 3 cats. I have a love for all things outdoors, nature, hunting...but most of all, helping and serving others.

I have received 2 years of training with Wellington College to become an RMT. I am truly blessed by God, who gave me this gift, and the wonderful people I have met along the way. I get so excited when I can teach my clients about what I find during assessment and treatment, and see amazing results afterwards. My heart overflows every time I get to help someone heal, even just a little.

I have been trained in Swedish relaxation, hot stone integration, advanced musculoskeletal/osteopathic assessment and treatment.

After completing a bachelor of science at the University of Manitoba I attained a Doctor of Naturopathy from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. My dream is to be an endless student and strive for excellence in order to better serve my community.

My passion is helping others achieve their goals and reach for their potential. Life is about progress not perfection.

basic (year 1) STUDENTS

The Year 1 student will assess your present condition using Orthopedic and/or Osteopathic protocols. The Basic Level students' focus is to Swedish massage which can help with relaxation & pain relief. Safety is a priority & an observer is on location to provide students with advice. At some point during your massage the observer may drop in to provide the student with guidance.

The cost for a 60 min massage with a Year 1 Student is $30 (tax included). Student massages can NOT be claimed on insurance or income tax.

AVERY FRIESEN - BASIC (YEAR 1) STUDENT

Hey! My name is Avery Friesen and I am currently studying at Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies. Where I will be graduating in the summer of 2025 with my diploma in advanced remedial massage therapies.

My heart is so grateful to be learning to help through touch. Being able to see the effects and benefits first hand has grown my love for massage therapy greatly. I am looking forward to be able to share my joy of massage here in my own community!

RYAN PENNER - BASIC (YEAR 1) STUDENT

Hi! I am currently in my first year of studies at Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies. I have really enjoyed learning more about the body and I am excited to grow more in my knowledge as it relates to massage therapy. I am looking forward to the opportunity to work in the community and practice what I have been learning.

In my free time I enjoy playing and watching sports (especially basketball), biking, playing guitar and traveling. I have been to 17 different countries and am always looking for opportunities to explore more of Gods beautiful creation. I also enjoy volunteering at my church in youth ministry and working part time as an educational assistant.

advanceD (year 2/3) STUDENTS

PRACTICUM STUDENTS

This student will be graduating in June and is currently working in a practical setting to combine all the skills & techniques they have learned over the past few years before they graduate as an RMT. Both Therapeutic or Relaxation treatment techniques can be applied at this stage of their training.  Safety is a priority & an observer is on location to provide students with advice.

The cost for a 60 min massage with a Practicum Student is $50 (tax included). Student massages can NOT be claimed on insurance or income tax.

AMY DERKSEN - PRACTICUM STUDENT

Hi! I am currently in my second year of studies at Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies. I will be graduating in June 2024 with my diploma in Advanced Remedial Massage Therapies.

As I learn more and increase my skill set in the practice, I find that my love and appreciation for what massage therapy can do only grows! I look forward to the opportunity to work in the community and put into practice what I have been learning over the course of my first year and now into my final year.

In my free time you can almost always find me boxing in my local martial arts gym, where my love of the body and keeping it healthy continues to grow! I look forward to meeting you, and for the opportunity to continue my education at Renew Wellness Center!
