Since graduating from Wellington College in 2007, I have been fortunate enough to have run my own business as well as help out in other clinics throughout the years.  I got married to my husband in 2018 and both of us enjoy sports and the outdoors.

Being athletic growing up, and continuing to be around the sport world has been a big part of my focus throughout my massage therapy career as well as advancing my knowledge for mental and physical injuries.  I have been blessed to have taken some education that has opened the doors to new advancements on how the massage therapy world is evolving and continuing to grow. I am trained in Sports massage therapy, Pre and Post event massage, KT Taping, TMJ dysfunction, Swedish massage, and Deep tissue massage therapy.  Educating clients and continuing to care for their health, wellness, and overall well being is something I take pride in and will continue to share with the community.

I have been married since 2015, and my wife and I live in Altona.  I enjoy long distance running, playing baseball, reading, and woodworking.  Since 2013 I have participated in over 35 road races, including my first full marathon, the Polar Bear Marathon, which was in support of the Christian ministry Athletes in Action, in Churchill, Manitoba, in November of 2013.

I started my RMT studies at Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies in the Summer of 2018, participating in the Distance Education program, before I switched to the Full Time option for the 2019/2020 school year.  I have taken Pre/Post Sports Event Massage Therapy, Deep Tissue Access and Lymphatic Integration seminars.

My desire in learning how to provide effective remedial massage therapy is foundationally based upon the love that Christ has mercifully granted me.  Everyone has been created in the image of Jesus, and as such ought to be treated with respect and care.  I want to provide professional, empathetic, and effective therapy for those I am blessed to be in contact with.  I want to live grateful for each breath God gives me, and to honour the skills, gifts, and time He has given me.

(Therapeutic, Fascia work, Prenatal, TMJ, Cupping, Cranial/Sacral integration, Deep tissue & Swedish treatments

I graduated Wellington College in 2016 and got married the same year. We had our baby girl in 2020 and she's been such a blessing for us and our family.

Throughout my practice as an RMT I've learned the importance of developing healthy movement in our daily life. I care deeply about peoples' longevity, and believe that our bodies are designed with everything they need to improve themseves. No matter how out of shape or old we are, we can make simple course corrections now that allow big changes to happen later.

I use an assortment of tools and techniques in my treaments, such as fascia work, cupping, cranial concepts and movement practices.

I love working with wrist/hands, feet/ankles, TMJ/headaches, and everything in-between.

I love learning new things and sharing those concepts with my clients, so get ready for some weird advice and odd analogies!

Dr. Mehrdad Sadeghi is a Canadian Board-Certified Naturopathic Doctor, and a Manitoba Naturopathic Association registered member. Before starting his practice as a naturopath in Canada, he practiced conventional medicine for over twenty years. He graduated from Carol Davila medical school in Bucharest. He is an East Europe and the Middle -East Board-Certified urologist who combined the art of conventional and alternative medicine for thousands of patients during his medical career. After moving to Canada, he participated in an associate research program at McMaster University. He then joined the Canadian college of naturopathic medicine in Toronto, which he felt aligned the best with his passion and work style. There he got his Board Certification as a Canadian naturopathic doctor. Now, complementary medicine constitutes the main part of his practice.

Dr. Sadeghi says ''As a Naturopathic Doctor, I:

> Establish the root cause of chronic illnesses

> Treat autoimmune disease using dietary and environmental changes.

> Pay special attention to treating chronic pain by using no drug regimen.

> Use foods as medicine, and don't ignore the importance of the microbiome as involving factors in many digestive and urogenital tract diseases.

> Look at the areas of the body that need assistance from a root cause level

As a Naturopathic doctor, I not only perform examinations and order diagnostic tests, similar to a general practitioner, but I also invest time in interviewing you about your diet, exercise, habits, sleep, and emotional state, in order to determine how it impacts your health.

After putting the best diagnosis for your actual status we then work together to create a personalized holistic treatment plan that will include a combination of supplementation, botanical medicine, detoxification, lifestyle recommendations, physical medicine, TCM, and methods to optimize the mind-body connection.
