At Renew Wellness Center, you'll be treated like part of the family. Since opening the Clinic in July 2019, we’ve been working closely with our valued clients in order to provide them with exactly what they need to feel healthier. Our staff care about each client that enters our doors and provides their undivided attention to your needs throughout the duration of your treatment as well as post treatment to provide you with home care suggestions in order to maintain the treatment you received.

Renew Wellness Center takes a holistic approach to health and wellness where you can receive:

Massage therapy services from either a Remedial Massage Therapist (RMT) or a student massage therapist. Treatments include Therapeutic, Relaxation, Pregnancy, Cupping, TMJ, Hot Stone, Visceral, Child & Infant massage services

Athletic Therapy Services from a Certified Athletic Therapist. Treatments include Manual Therapy, Soft-Tissue Release Techniques (STR), Myofascial Release (MFR), Cupping, Corrective Exercises, Physical Reconditioning, Assisted Stretching, Taping.

Naturopathic Treatments including Acupuncture, Nutritional Counseling, Allergy testing, B12 injections, Neurolinguistic Programming and more from our Naturopathic Doctor.

All of our RMT's have completed a 2,200 hour course and are registered to practice in Manitoba. They are all members of a respected Massage Therapy Association that provides them with insurance coverage and continuing education in their field. Only an RMT is able to provide their clients with receipts which may be submitted to private insurance companies for reimbursement.

The Renew Wellness Center Story

When people set goals in life, they are often prompted to start by asking themselves, ‘What is your Why?’ When I thought of this question, my ‘Why’ was to glorify God in everything that I do. When I set my eyes on Him and choose to follow where He leads, I know He’ll take care of the rest. This was true when He prompted me to go to school for Massage Therapy. I thought I was going b/c I wanted to work out of my home with flexible hours…. but He had a much different plan in mind, which is why I am where I am today.

It’s truly amazing to think that when I opened the business in July 2019 with 1 Admin, 3 RMT's and 6 students, we could not have imagined how rapid the growth would be. Renew Wellness Center opened just 2 days after I (Crystal) graduated from Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapies. The vision quickly grew as more RMT’s sought employment within a professional clinic setting and an opportunity to grow their practice while networking with other professionals in the healthcare field. In December 2019, only 5 months into opening the business, the plans began for building a new space. As the business was rapidly out-growing the space we were renting with 2 additional RMT’s that joined the team as well as a second admin staff member, it was an exciting and daunting venture all at the same time.

We had no idea that Covid was around the corner, and while we were in lockdown and out of work in March of 2020, the papers were signed to proceed with construction, even though we had no idea how long we would be out of work. It was another act of faith on trusting that God was taking the business in this direction.

They say if a business will succeed or fail, it will be within the first 5 years of business. After 5 years, we now have 10 RMT’s, 1 Naturopathic Dr, 1 Athletic Therapist, 3 students and 5 admin staff. Since we opened, we have expanded to not only provide health care services, but we now carry health and wellness products to compliment the services offered.

Rapid growth of a business always comes with its challenges, but having the amazing community of Winkler and surrounding areas to support us as we have grown, has been an amazing place to run a business and made it easier to navigate any growing pains. We greatly appreciate the support and would not be where we are without it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
