The student providing your treatment is enrolled in a 2550 hour training program. This in-depth training assures that you are in competent hands and will receive knowledgeable treatment.

 

The BASIC Level students' focus is on Swedish massage which can help with relaxation & pain relief. They provide this service as a way of combining various subjects and skills they are currently learning. This supplies an important foundational experience for our year one students to build upon.

 

The ADVANCED Level students shift their focus away from relaxation and orientate toward therapeutic massage. This type of massage is commonly used for specific complaints/ conditions and uses assessment and treatment. Our Year Two students provide this service by combining their first year of experience with the various subjects and skills they are currently learning in an advanced environment.

The PRACTICUM student will be graduating in June and is currently working in a practical setting to combine all the skills & techniques they have learned over the past few years before they graduate as an RMT. Both Therapeutic or Relaxation treatment techniques can be applied at this stage of their training.

Safety is a priority and an observer is on location to provide students with advice. At some point during your massage the observer may drop in to provide the student with guidance. There may be times where another student is in the treatment room for their training to either observe an advanced student or to mentor a year 1 student. This usually occurs at appointments booked between Nov-Feb.
