Lymphedema Treatments

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT), also known as Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), is a specialized form of massage therapy that promotes the movement of lymphatic & stagnant fluid out of swollen areas. This technique is used to correct imbalances and promote optimal function. This technique involves gentle pressure applied specifically in the direction of the lymph flow to encourage lymphatic drainage from the areas of dysfunction as well as throughout the whole body.

Candidates for this treatment would be those seeking treatment for lymphedema, lipedema, edema, ongoing congestion (sinus/chest), sprains/strains, headaches, post surgery swelling, reducing bruising/hematomas, digestive issues, relaxation, and all other lymphatic conditions.

 

Take note that the initial consultation will be primarily consultation only with very little treatment.
