Linda Hiebert
Licenced Acupuncturist (D. Ac.)
I discovered acupuncture by skeptically trying it on a whim to manage my chronic joint pain. I had tried everything under the sun, but acupuncture was the first therapy to significantly “move the needle” on my pain scale. The impact was so great that, with time and occasional follow-ups, I went from wearing a back brace, a knee brace, two ankle braces, and occasional wrist and finger braces to zero braces today. Since then, I’ve seen first-hand that acupuncture can do even more than relieve pain and generate the healing of muscles and tendons.
For over 2000 years, it has been used successfully to address women’s health, mental health, insomnia, digestive issues, allergies, asthma, fertility (male and female), urinary dysfunction, neurological decline, stroke recovery, and more. While there are certainly some things that cannot be cured by any medicine, acupuncture is a natural option for symptom relief and illness management without the hefty list of side effects. Furthermore, acupuncture can completely resolve some of the issues that Western medicine can only prescribe medication to manage.
Though I graduated in 2025, I still study daily. Over the past year I have completed advanced courses on fertility, pregnancy, auriculotherapy, lingering pathogens (ex: Epstein Barr, long Covid), and 2 advanced Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnostic courses. I am currently studying orthopedic sports medicine acupuncture, which will enable me to diagnose and treat pain cases with a more advanced approach.
I hold myself to a high standard of practice and I am invested in each of my patients' health journeys. I expect to see results early on in treatment, and when I don't I dive deeper into each case until I do.
