Practicum Student (Year 2)
My name is Liane and I'm 24 years old. I am in my final year as a student at Wellington College studying to become a Registered Massage Therapist and looking forward to complete my practicum placement at Renew.

When I’m not studying or in clinic, I enjoy spending time on creative hobbies. I love baking, reading, crocheting, and painting—anything that allows me to work with my hands and be creative. Music is also a big part of my everyday life, and there’s almost always something playing in the background while I’m at home or working on a project.

Before starting my massage therapy training, I worked in a care home, where I found it incredibly rewarding to support people and help improve their comfort and quality of life. I’ve always had a passion for helping others and truly enjoy building meaningful connections with the people I work with.

I find the human body fascinating and love continuing to learn about how it moves, adapts, and heals. As I finish my training, I look forward to expanding my knowledge and using what I’ve learned to help my clients feel their best.
